Make a Difference in a Child's Summer

The Lopez Island Family Resource Center is looking for caring, energetic people to join our summer camp team. Whether you’re a seasoned camp leader or high schooler interested in working with youth to create fun summer experiences for campers, we’d love to hear from you! Lead Instructor for Camp Huckleberry

As lead instructor, you’ll be responsible for supervising youth to ensure their safety and for facilitating academic and social-emotional enrichment activities for grades K-5 in LIFRC’s traditional summer day camp, “Camp Huckleberry,” which serves up to 40 youth. The Lead Instructor is responsible for program operations when the Program Manager is not on site.

This is a position for High Schoolers who enjoy working with youth. Position open until filled.

disabled youth, offering a nurturing and inclusive environment where creativity knows no bounds and every
child can thrive.
