Dive beneath the surface of the Salish Sea! Join Friends of the San Juans on Thursday, August 6 for the Salish Sea Dome Experience—an immersive adventure that brings the underwater world of the Salish Sea to life. Imagine stepping inside a giant inflatable planetarium… but instead of exploring stars and planets, you’ll discover kelp forests, marine life, and the incredible ecosystem just beneath our waters. Come during the time slot that best fits your family:

• 10:15–11:15 AM – Camp Huckleberry & families
• 11:15 AM–12:15 PM – Families with children ages 0–6
• 12:15–1:15 PM – Families with youth in grades 6+
• 1:45–3:45 PM – Open to the general public

Each experience lasts about 30 minutes, and the Pop-Up Lopez Library will be on site from 1:45–3:45 PM. This event is FREE thanks to support from the 21st Century Community Learning Center Grant, Friends of the San Juans, and funding from San Juan County Cultural Access. We hope you’ll join us!
