On Thursday, April 26th, Gloria DeGaetano will present at the next Parent Meeting, co-sponsored by the Family Resource Center and the Prevention Coalition. Back on Lopez by popular demand, DeGaetano will share with parents the latest information about brain development, as well as practical strategies for using that information to help children of all ages thrive, even in our media-saturated world. Gloria will also present techniques to help you enhance your child’s unique talents and skills.
Separate sessions geared toward younger and older kids – come to one or stay for both! Both sessions will allow time for questions. The first, for younger children (elementary age) will be from 5:30-7pm. The second, for teens and adolescents, will be from 7-8:30pm. The meetings will be at Lopez School in the Multi-Purpose room.
