The Community Wellness Program is a county-wide program which provides short-term counseling services for community members. Individuals, couples, families, and children who are uninsured and make up to 350 percent of the poverty level are eligible to benefit (the poverty level for a family of four is $24,600 as defined by the 2017 state guidelines). By participating in the program, clients will be able to receive counseling for depression (post-partum or other), childhood issues, family stress, parental concerns, and many other issues that community members need help with. Up to 6 Sessions are provided to patients per year, and co-pay amounts for the appointments range from $5.00 to $30.00, depending on income level.
The Lopez Island Family Resource Center will serve as a point of contact for anyone interested in participating in the Community Wellness Program. For more information or to become involved, please contact Contessa Downey at 360-468-4117 or send an email to firstname.lastname@example.org.
